Naturallysilver Morning French Cookies

 

 Oven Temp:  350˚

       Baking time: 15 minutes

       Yield: 24 cookies

 

         4 egg whites

         1 tsp. vanilla

         1 cup sugar

1 cup almonds, blanched and ground fine

1/2 cup melted butter

1 cup sifted all purpose flour

 

 

Beat egg whites until foamy; add vanilla and one tbsp. of the sugar.  Beat well.  Add remaining sugar gradually, while beating. Add almonds and butter.  Stir flour in slowly.  Drop by full teaspoons on to non-stick or non-stick sprayed cookie sheet.  Bake for 15 minutes.   

Chicken Spaghetti

1 small package of chicken breasts

1 small jar pimentos

1 large can/jar of sliced mushrooms

1 small bar of Velveeta cheese

1 cam cream of chicken soup

1/2 can Rotel tomatoes and green chilis

cooked spaghetti (preferably wheat or whole grain)

 

Cook chicken, tear into small pieces.  Cut Velveeta into small cubes.  Add pimentos, mushrooms, chicken soup, Rotel, and chicken to spaghetti.  Mix well and bake at 350˚for 45 minutes.  Serve with salad and rolls if desired.
